Promoting the professions of a Caterer and Event Organiser: a mission dear to Monblanc

At Monblanc Traiteur, passing on knowledge is part of our DNA. On Monday 7 July, our laboratory in Saint-Jean-d’Illac hosted an inspiring initiative, co-organised with France Travail and the Jalle Eau Bourde Community of Communes, aimed at promoting careers in cooking and building bridges between motivated candidates and committed professionals.

A visit to the heart of our laboratory

The afternoon brought together candidates seeking careers, recruiters from the sector, restaurant partners, and our Monblanc teams, who worked hard to make this event useful, practical, and inspiring.

On the agenda:

• An immersive culinary workshop with our chefs

• Open discussions with local restaurant operators on the realities of the profession

• A job dating event to promote employment opportunities

• A virtual reality immersion behind the scenes of restoration

What is our ambition with this initiative?
To inspire vocations, promote the sometimes overlooked professions in the culinary arts, and show future talents that these professions are rich in meaning, expertise and opportunities.
